We went through the proofs of lemma 2-3 and proposition 1-3. Additionally, we introduced the concept of the firm distribution function, incorporating the heterogeneous pricing distribution. Furthermore, we deduced three distinct expressions for inflation and the real growth rate. Notably, we discovered that in the absence of menu costs, the nominal growth rate becomes zero and the real growth rate attains its maximum potential.
4.本期預告
We will delve into the social planner problem, and subsequently compare the welfare-maximizing inflation rate with the growth-maximizing inflation rate. Furthermore, we will analyze the quantitative impacts of inflation. Additionally, we will introduce an extended model that incorporates imitation.
