We solved the allocation of the decentralized equilibrium in which firms own data, including the special case where the government outlaws the selling of data. Then we considered the scenario where consumers own data and analyzed optimization problems of different sectors.
本期預告
First, we will solve the allocation in the decentralized equilibrium where consumers own data. Then, we will compare the allocations on the balanced growth paths for the social planner (sp), when consumers own data (c), when firms own data (f), and when the government outlaws the selling of data (os), to see how the different allocation mechanisms lead to different outcomes. Finally, numerical examples will be shown to illustrate the insights of the model.
