We derived the baseline model and analyzed the impact of technical change on wages. We found that an increase in the number of products N leads to an increase in both high-skill and low-skill wages. With a positive automation share, an increase in N also increases the skill premium and decreases the labor share.
4、本期預告
We will analyze two other forms of technological progress and their impacts on the labor market. Additionally, we will discuss the asymptotic behavior of economic variables under general technological processes. This analysis provides insights into the long-term trends and impacts of various types of technological progress on the labor market and the aggregate economy.
